Some of my other papers show results of my work on the Ultrasonic Bubble Counter (UBC) which is used to count microbubbles in blood during ECC. The device is being developed in cooperation with Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg (especially Dr. Jenderka) and a company supporting research in medicine. My work focused on the development of software and suitable algorithms to process the Doppler signal and detect bubbles reliably in real-time.
